Folded Jeans Tote
Name of Maker: mimuscraft
Folded Jeans Tote - I made this bag using old fabrics from my dear neighbour and old jeans. I used fabric folding technique and machine sewing where ever it was possible. Side seams had to be sewn by hand. Jeans fabric was quite hard to handle, but with lot of steam pressing I got it to behave. Because there is no additional lining, I added hanging pocket to inside (will add picture of that to my blog). It took a lot of time to make this, but I am very happy with the result!

UNDER THE SEA
Name of Maker: Ann Lemons
UNDER THE SEA - I adapted this design from a drawing published on yahoo photos. It is hand painted using Jacquard textile paints, colored pencils and permanent markers. Some of the sea weed is appliqued and some are painted and satin stitched using a regular sewing machine. Everything else was made using my Juki shortarm and home quilting frame. This hangs in my living room over my sofa. I love it.
Featheration
Name of Maker: Ann Lemons
Featheration - This is my 3rd wholecloth and my own design of feathers and circles. I did not have any templates to follow for this design, it was all free motion. I am sure it would have been better if I had some templates and guides to go by. I am now getting more tools to design and sew with. I have been quilting for 21/2 yrs. I do not like traditional quilting but more art quilts.
