Inch by Inch - This quilt was juried into the Savage Threads challenge/exhibit in Billings, MT.

Indian Pipe - Done in a class with Ruth McDowell. Taken from a photo that my husband took in the woods near our house.

Trillium - Done after a class with Ruth McDowell.

Hunny Bear's First Quilt - Honey colored Teaddy bears appliqued onto hunter green batik background. Colorful sashing and small batik animal blocks at sashing intersections.

I Love Olive - Forty-two 12 inch Lemoyne Star blocks in Olive Based fabrics, with solid olive sashing, small 9-patches at sashing intersections and a bar border. Hand-quilted by myself. This quilt took me 5 years to complete. I recently rebound it, replaced one of the stars and quite a few of the border bars. I use this quilt on my bed all the time!

I love Olive 2 - Wall quilt made expressly as a "headboard" quilt to compliment "I Love Olive". This was the first quilt I made with my Husqvarna Sapphire.

new stars - Made for my daughter for her home after it was remodeled after flooding.

cotton candy - Just a fun little baby quilt. The colors were soothing to work with.

Bouquet for a New Day

Winter Quiltastrohpy - This quilt inspires me to know there are no mistakes, keep moving forward and beauty will present itself. Created originally as pure redwork and then God's hand took over during first washing. I was mortified until I saw that the areas of pink stayed completely within the boundaries of the stained blocks. It is perfect. I could never have planned it this way...

Marathon quilt - My uncle hired me to make this quilt and use all his marathon t-shirts. The color inspiration came from artist Paul Klee, after seeing a painting he did, using similar colors to the ones in the shirts I needed to use. I didn't use any stabilizer with the shirts and had no problem with them. Most of the shirts were from the Atlanta Peachtree Marathon so I quilted peaches and leaves all over, using an Innova long-arm.

congrats robyn - I made this quilt with a lot of help for my friend Robyn who recently got married. I picked her favorite colors. It has a lot of mistakes but was a lot of fun :)

Stars for Samuel - This is for a young friend's third baby. Continuing in my tradition of not normal baby quilts, I started with black and gold fabric (In the top middle size star), and pulled out anything that looked like it fit. I am particularly happy with the batik in the middle of the center large star. I varied the size of the stars and got out graph paper to make sure it would work. This is one quilt for which I can answer that awful question, "How long does it take to make a quilt?" 17 hours, including design and fabric choice,but not including pre-washing. I backed it with flannel. It is quilted with random curlicues and stars.
