Amish American - i saw a version of this quilt and always wanted to make one. then i found instructions for the off set log cabin block in a magazine, and directions by Mary Ellen Hopkins. it is made with patriotic strips and being sent to the Soldier's Angels backpack group. they provide BLankets of Hope to wounded soldiers evacuated to Germany from war zones.

MAC's Quilt - Made for my Granddaughter using Bible verses learned in kindergarten using alphabet letters to indicate first letter of verse. Used photos of her, family members and each members favorite verse

Leap of Faith - Done for Quilt Art Challenge. I chose a leap of faith after the lost of 4 family members.

Bridgitte's Lone Star - Lone Star class at Quilt University with Jan Krentz. After class added the sashing and log cabin blocks. Wedding gift for a niece. Started 2003 quilted 2004.

JMU - Made from 25 JMU T-shirts. Made for my Granddaughter Lisa from her sorority mentors shirts as a gift.

English Cottage - Started as a BOM from Newport Quilt Co in 1999. Lap size, I added another row of blocks from EQ5, made it kingsized. Gave as gift

My twisted log cabin - Bonnie Browning was on Simply Quilts with Alex and demonstrated easy way to make it. Its on the opening segment of SQ and I fell in love. Its the gray sky before sunrise into the depths of the ocean.

Roselyn window - Photo my Granddaughter took on a writing trip in Scotland. Printed from wide format printer on fabric I treated with bubble jet set, borders added and mounted on stretcher frame.

Scrap Happy Neighborhood - 3" paper pieced blocks using scraps from my scrap bags. Some of the pieces are as small as your fingernail

On the Road to Stardom - Denim frayed-edge quilt with alternating rows of reverse applique star blocks. Made for niece as a graduation gift.

Animal Alphabet - I fell in love with the Animal Alphabet fabric by Janet WeckerFrisch and used it to design a quilt for my great niece. It took me so long to make it that by the time I finished she had a new baby sister! Guess I'll just have to make another one. I had a lot of fabric left over so I used it to make the ruffled border.

Not Your Mama's Quilt - Quilt size: 44” x 58” Block size: 10” square I named this fast, easy lap quilt because I made it for my newborn niece and my sister tried to take possession. For Shame, Woman!
