Eddie's Paradise - Took a seascape class from Rob Appell in Sept 2009. Enjoyed the class. The quilt was made in memory of my son, Eddie, who loved to surf. Can you find the quilted surfer?

Mustangs - Arrow blocks with horses running up the middle of the background fabric.

Select Six - Assorted 6" blocks using varying techniques.

Cat's Eye - Motifs cut and reassembled. Hand beaded gold circles, small black motifs and gold corners

miss gladys - this quilt began in a hollis chatelaine workshop on dye painting with procion mx dyes. this was a sketch i had done in my sketchbook of a dear friend in my community.

In Fine Feather - I made this based on a photo I took of a male peacock in full display. It is a painted, pieced and quilted original design.

4 birds - 4 birds came from a random curvilinear doodle in my sketchbook. after studying my drawing for awhile, i discovered an abstract bird-----before i knew it, there were 4 birds. 4 birds is all curved piecing---very challenging. the back looks like a thread painting, and the binding is made from a line of flying geese. this is the most challenging quilt i have made. for a look at the back of this quilt, check out my personal photos on my profile page.

Paper Piecing - I saw Carol Doak's video and finally *Got It*... Paper Piecing was always a mystery before. I made one block, it was easy, so I made a whole quilt!

Wild Baby - Took a workshop with Jane Sassaman-Wonderful experience!! - The center design came from that day and I then made it into a baby quilt for a friend. (made a T-Shirt with matching appliques for the big brother :-)

Mission Churches Of New Mexico - This quilt was based on a pattern set by Joy Dow, recreated by Southwest Decoratives and the border/sashing was designed by Liz Whitehead.

Happy 60th Birthday - Free pattern by Elizabeth Hartman, found on her blog "www.ohfransson.com". Made with fabric cut from nine men's plaid shirts that I purchased at Salvation Army. Sashings are Kona cotton color "O.D. Green". I used the solution to a five star Sudoku puzzle for the layout of my nine different blocks. The backing is one large nine patch with patches cut from the nine shirt backs.

Mario Spaceship - I traced the picture, then enlarged it 200%. I chose all batik fabric. The thread is used was rayon.
