Jungle Babies
Name of Maker: Desiree Habicht
Jungle Babies - This is another popular baby quilt pattern that I offer on my website, www.desireesdesigns.com. This pattern comes with large pieces, I fused large areas of fabrics and used the templates to cut out the pieces. After fusing down onto the background fabric I assembled quilt and satin stitched around the images. This satin stitching also became the quilting and required just a bit more quilting to finish the quilt. Its a great, easy project that your baby will love. Old Kentucky Home
Name of Maker: quiltendeb
Old Kentucky Home - 1st quilt I made. Daughter picked out pattern (from ones I thought I could make) and fabric and helped design the quilt. Took me a year to make, hand piecing and hand quilting. I learned so much making this quilt. I thought at the time it was a great task. Now I look at the large pieces and think how quickly I could make it today. But I enjoyed every moment on the hand work.
