Lindsey's Quilt - My daughter chose green, purple and orange for her baby's quilt, and wanted a cat in the center. But then it became a cat quilt, so I let it lie down in the corner instead. I spent a lot of time with the graph paper, and finally came up with this design. It took a while to figure out just how to put it together more or less efficiently. It is backed with green flannel, and Lindsey shows his approval by going to sleep under it!

Soho teacups - While touring the Soho district of New York City, a designer show had beautiful blue and white dishes and a few quilts with rich brown fabrics and the blue and white teacups. I decided to make my own.

The Pansy Quilt - I started this quilt in 1997 when I first saw it, but got distracted to other quilts and did not complete it until 2009. I was going to give it to my first granddaughter when she was 8 or 9. Now she is 21, so I decided to give it to my 2nd granddaughter who is 8 now. I love the colors in this quilt.

Flowers of the Holy Land - This quilt was made for my parent's 60th wedding anniversary. I used embroidery patterns from www.emblibrary.com - Flowers of the Bible Design Pack and original designs that applique'd photo transfer fabric photos of their marriage and courtship. The reverse was a simple framework that showed off the quilting well. Set on point, these 15" blocks were bound together to form a secondary pattern, as in an irish chain. The finished quilt is queen-sized. The large format blocks were easy to quilt on my Bernina. The sashing strips were 2 1/2".
