My Kool KaleidosKope - After attending the Super Seminar with Ricky, Alex and Libby, I finally decided to give it a try to make a Kool Kaleidoscope. I say is adapted from an original design because with this technique each quilter has the freedom to make the quilt as big or small as desired, and to use whatever size strips and shapes. This has to make the only technique that allows this much freedom, making each quilt a one of a kind. I used fabrics from the Ricky Tims Tower as well as many others.

Guadalupe - This is a purchased panel and finished into a wallhanging.

Maya in Eden - Another stained glass Quilt I did for my daughter and her family.

Baby Brandon Quilt - This quilt has owls in the large squares.

Big Blue - I made this quilt for a challenge with my group in Virginia Beach last year. It has been in two shows but no prizes. It is going to be in the Vermont Quilt Show in June.

Fred's Butterfly Garden - This was a pattern for a baby quilt but I like look and increased the number of blocks and modified the design of the border to meet my needs. I don't sell my quilts - I give them away to family and friends. I thought it was time to make a new quilt for my bed. My husband, Fred has a butterfly garden therefore the name of the quilt. This is a very simple pattern. Each block is machine embroidered on my Babylock Esante with the designs from Ace Points. I also free motion quited the quilt.

Cabin Garden - Quilt was done for a quilt challenge at local Bernina Store (viewers choice). This is the first time I've ever entered any type of competition. They provided two fabrics and the theme was "Cabin Fever."

Spring Kaleidoscope - Spring Colors (I was think'in Easter Basket). Added Swarovski Crystals. Wish photo showed crystals and quilting details clearer.

Don's Bow Tie - This is a quilt I made for my Mother's neighbor. He kept admiring the quilts that I make, So as a surprise I made him this.

Log Cabin Star quilt - I made this for my Son & Daughter-in-law with all Christmas material.

Sunburst - I took a class from Sharon Pederson last summer in Sisters, OR and this is the finished product. I decided to free motion quilt it and the flowers are thread painted, my first attempt at this technic. I just finished it last month.

Puff the Magic Dragon - I made this for a new baby girl who was recently adopted by close friends. I fussy cut the dragons and made log cabin blocks around the center design. I free motion quilted it by machine.

Nurses' Day Quilt 2010 - I made this quilt to be raffled (and won by a nurse) at our hospital's annual Nurses' Day celebration May 6. The blocks are from Marti Michell's "Scrappy Sedona Star", and the setting is from Brenda Henning's "Beacon Hill" quilt in the Triangulations software. This is the second time I've set blocks in that setting. I purchased a fat quarter collection to make this quilt at the Long Beach quilt show last summer. I'll definitely do that again. It's GREAT to have someone else put the colors together. I'll post a picture of the label in my personal photo section of profile.

Happy birthday mum and dad - Appliquied quilt of my parents farm, made for there 60. birthdays two years ago

Violeta - I made this quilt so I could continue learning and practicing my machine quilting. Thanks to TQS and Patsy Thompson dvd I feel more confidant. I still struggle making my stitches even but I'm getting better. I just need to practice, practice, practice.
