Michigan Star - Quilt designed for my Mother to use when she is in her wheel chair. Borders were made uneven to get the size I wanted. Border quilt designs were done with my embroidery machine. Center was done with quilt-in-the-ditch around the stars, with a star motif in the center.

Fruits and Veggies - I bought 16 12x18" pieces of fabric of different fruits and vegetables at a garage sale last year and was waiting for the right pattern to feature them for a wall hanging for our dining/kitchen area. I enlarged the squares from 9" to 11" to make the best use of patterns on the material.

Thimbleberries 2006 - I wanted to use all 30 blocks on front after I had embroidered them, so this is a big quilt..I changed around the sashing and used black instead and used what they had put in the kit for part of the pieced back. This quilt with all the work was a true labor of love to hand down to my family some day.

Photo Memories - I've made several photo quilts for bridal showers - and this was one for the bride-to-be of a favorite nephew. The photos are some of their favorites. I print directly onto fabric, then design by the layout of the photos. This one took a lot of piecing as the photos were both horizontal and vertical 8 x 10's.
