"Visions of Palms" - Five quilt artists colaborated to create this quilt as one of the 2011 raffle quilts for our local guild.

Batik Beauty - My only paper-pieced quilt to date. Started at Hands of Friendship Quilt Guild retreat with Mabeth Oxenreider. Loved picking the batik fabrics for this quilt. Took viewers' choice first place at local quilt (HFQG) show. Will post a better picture later; this one is more of a picture of my Aussie pup Cash than of the quilt.

Pure Ecstasy A.K.A. Come Again - I took Judy B. Dales curved piecing class at the Quilt Gallery in Kalispell, MT. We had to design our own pattern & then piece it using Judy's method. I also added trapunto behind the ribbons.

Wedding Star - Judy brought this pattern back in 2009 as she updated the piecing to make it easier. I did the quilting for her on my longarm.

Stars & Stripes Forever - I made this wallhanging for my brother, Master Chief William Tyrrell in honor of his 30 years he served in the United States Navy. It won 1st place (Viewers' Choice) at the Flathead Quilt Show 2003.

Ring Toss - Sheryl designed & pieced this quilt for "Bold Over Batiks" for Spring Quilt Market 2006.

9-Patch Daiwabo - I love the Japanese Daiwabo fabrics & made a scrappy quilt so I could play with most of the ones I've collected.

A Touch Of Spring - I quilted this for Judy Niemeyer for 2008 Fall Market.

Baby quilt for Emily - My first attempt at using inks and free motion. Made for my cousins little girl.

Roll On - I made this for my "horse friends" Les and Carol Williams. I used batiks in southwestern colors, and rotated each block a quarter turn to give the illusion of movement. (I am not so sure that I achieved that.:))

Bright Stars - I made this quilt for my 14 year old stepgranddaughter, who likes bright fabrics. A fun, fast quilt to make.

Wacky Batiks - This sampler was a block of the month. The fabrics were so bright and wild, I thought that a "wacky" setting was appropriate. I had fun quilting the ferns in the sashing and borders. These colors were outside my comfort zone, but I like the result.

Heavenly Stars - I did this in civil war reproductions. The pattern is very easy, really foolproof. It uses a fat quarter for each block plus a background fabric. I made this for my neighbor who is a carpenter and good friend. Since my husband passed away, I tell him I have him on retainer. He is very good about helping me out when needed. I made this for him after he buried my beloved Aussie dog Millie who died of cancer. Pictured on his antique bed.

Hopscotch in Pink - Alex's one block quilt design with a modern twist. Fabrics were pinks and greens selected to fit in a "tween" room. Thank you Alex!!!

I Hope They Like Blue - This quilt was designed in EQ 5 by a member of my guild. We made it in red and white as a raffle quilt for the church where we meet. I have made a smaller version in blue and white as a wedding gift for a young woman I have know since she was a wee baby and whose grandparents are our closest friends.
