Girly Pinks for a little sweetie - This was made for the first grandaughter of my dear friend Annette who for a number of years has been there for me in many many ways and who I will always be grateful for her kindness.

Bargello in the round - A class taken at a local quilt store on doing Baregllo in the round. It was fun. You get two out of one pattern.

Friendship

Vikki, Libby & Liz - I was encouraged to try making a contemporary quilt by my class teacher Liz Smithbone. This is a practice quilt inspired by Vicki Pignatelli's curved piecing technique and Libby Lehman's threadplay ribbon quilting.

Tropical Geometric - One of the first quilts I made after visiting Quilts UK in Malvern. I bought loads of stuff not really knowing what I was doing!!!

Spotty Sampler - This quilt is made up of sample blocks made during an evening class.

E PLURIBUS UNUM - I designed the quilt based on one half of the Great Seal as it is shown on the back of our one dollar bills.

Joey's At Sunset - Joey's at Sunset was a challenge piece created for the Bunbury, Australia Quilt Show. A fat quarter was sent once an application was submitted. A theme based contest, "Paradise" was ours. I went to the dictionary to follow a common thread. Over the past year, I've been experimenting with discharging, painting, and thread work. My piece was a composition of all of these techniques. Joey's at Sunset shows two kangaroos running from a fiery savannah, only to be distracted by an apple. She stops to pick the apple. (Adam and Eve biblical parable ( Paradise).

Every Quilter Dreams - The fabrics were hand dyed and machine pieced, machine appliqued - This is one of 15 blocks in the quilt "Every Quilter Dreams"

Hawaiian Quilt - AccuQuilt Studio cutter and die. Longarm quilted freehand except for border design done with the CompuQuilter. Design done by me and sold on my website http://www.compuquilterdesigns.com

Butterfly Wreath - I took a Jan Krentz workshop last February. I just wasn't satisfied with how my quilt was coming together so I just cut it into blocks and re-put it together then added the flowers and butterfly, adding a bit of glitter to the butterfly.

Ava's Baby Quilt - This was made for my great-grand-daughter. It hangs in her nursery.

"It wasn't supposed to be Blue" - This was made during a class I took. The number of blocks was mind-boogling! I started out with a focus fabric that I never used.

"Eileen's Cabin Quilt" - This quilt was made as a house-warming gift for a friends vacation home.

Dick's Leaves - My husband liked the leaves so we collected them at rest spots and made patterns which I used to make this quilt.
