Memories
Name of Maker: Colleen Featherstone
Memories - This was a sampler that was a step up from my other sampler. I am a kayaker so I appliqued the kayak off a photo of me, I love and have plumeria blooming in Campbell River so I appliqued the flower and the stone with the herringbone feather represents Featherstone. It's just a lot of who I am and I like the quilt. It's on my couch when the penguins aren't.

Peter, The Game of Love and Chance
Name of Maker: Joan Johnson
Peter, The Game of Love and Chance - Following Beth Wheeler's books, I made my son an art quilt with his picture as Harlequin, from The Game of Love and Chance. The quote came from a t-shirt he wears.

Double Wedding Ring
Name of Maker: Molly Hall
Double Wedding Ring - I didn't have enough fabric (the recipient of the quilt selected Eleanor Burns' Yours Truly fabrics from Benartex which is no longer available) to complete all of the required arcs for this size so I used the background material in a 12 inch border in which Amie beautifully quilted feathers and piano keys.

10 Year Delay
Name of Maker: Keith Dommer
10 Year Delay - My first bargello - made with four panels. Made as part of a family challenge to try use up all Mom's crappy 70's 50/50 fabrics. Because of these fabrics, I waited to start quilting until 1990. =)
