BYOB table runner and wine carrier - I needed to take a gift when I visited my daughter this year. Her home is very contemporary and she has her kitchen/dining area decorated in 'wine' motif. So I found this lovely panel in my favorite quilt shop Hearts and Hands Quilts in Green Valley, AZ. I decided to make the pattern myself, and it turned out great. The BYOB carrier has Timtex stabilizer which kept the sides and the bottom firm for carrying a bottle.
I used coordinating fabric for the back of the table runner.
Pocketbook for Dawn - I have made several of the Bow Tucks and Mini Bow Tucks bag and really like them. This one I made from Home Dec. fabrics and am pleased with the results. I also did a bit more quilting on this one.
Cats All Around - The challenge was to use up 2" strips from our black, white and red stash, from a previous project. I hadn't done the previous project, but I had a lot of these colors because I like Freddy Moran's stuff.
I made the quilt for a neighbor who cared for my cat while I was in the hospital.
April's Quilt - The pattern is for 8 fat quarters; you can find it on the Sweet Treat website. I used batiks. The quilt was a birthday present and the person likes pink, so voila. Easy quilt to make. You can piece the pattern in less than a day.
Carpenter's Star Quilt - Jewel Colours used with black background, quilt was made using squares and half-square triangles.
Domestic machine-quilted, using gold embroidery thread in parts.
Row-by-Row Sampler Quilt - In my quilting class our teacher gave us this quilt design to do which she had put together herself.
Each row consists of a different quilting technique, we received a different row each week to do. It is also a "quilt as you go" using iron on pellon in the center.

My Wedding Quilt - My Aunt Judy made this for me and my husband for a wedding gift. I am so lucky to have relatives that quilt!! It was the first quilt I own that has a label which included a sweet poem and our wedding date. This is and always will be very special to me! Thank you very much Aunt Judy and Uncle Russ :)
My "Blue Spa" Quilt - I just got this for Christmas...lucky me! My mom made this for me and a matching one for my daughter and sister. Yup she made all three and she made all of them between Thanksgiving 2009 and had them all finished the Sat before Christmas 2009...oh ya she's good! She made personal individual labels with a positive thought on each...oh yes tears were involved! Thanks Mama it's so beautiful and sentimental!
