Only Love Can Break Your Heart - This quilt is made using a technique that evolved from using an embellishing machine and and adding yarns to create surface texture.

Odd Man Out - I started this quilt in 2006 shortly after being shown how to paper piece by a sister guild member. The "Odd Man" leaf (lower right corner) resulted from my running out of fabrics for the leaves. This was a kit, so I could not get any more of the same fabrics. At wit's end, and wanting to throw the whole thing away, I put it away for almost two years. Finally, I came up with the idea to use different fabrics for the final leaf. I am pleased with the results and think it is better than it would have been with just the original fabrics.

scared cat - the pattern called for two inch cut squares but I made mine larger, i cut at 2.5 inches. it is a throw size.

Palms for Psalms - Soft edged appliqued center. Psalms fabric purchased at Road to California was bordered by various shades of blue. Golden yellow break borders hint of sunshine and happiness. Footprint in sand sayings create the outer border.

Twelve Days of Christmas - This was last years Christmas present to our dear friends. I finally finished the quilting and binding two days ago. I should have named it "The Twelve Months of Christmas."

Britney's baby quilt - My mini quilt group made this for the grand daughter of one of our members who was expecting a baby.

Sunflower - Wall Hanging made during Melina Bula class - pattern made from photo taken by me.

Burst of Paradise - This wall hanging started as a photo of a Bird of Paradise flower which I manipulated in Kaleidoscope Kreator software and printed on inkjet fabric.

Fun with Fingerpaints - This quilt pattern was designed for a theme fabric. I designed the "theme fabric" by manipulating a scanned fingerpainting in Kaleidoscope Kreator.

Reflections of Vietnam - A photo memory quilt of the time I spent traveling in Vietnam. The center block started as a photo of rice terraces which was then manipulated with Kaleidoscope Kreator.

Iris Reflections - A photo of iris was manipulated in Kaleidoscope Kreator and then printed on inkjet fabric.

Gramsie - I used my favorite photo of my grandmother and manipulated it in Kaleidoscope Kreator for the center block. Other photos depict my grandmother at different ages.

Memories of Rocky Mountain National Park - A few of my favorite photos of Rocky Mountain National Park. I used Kaleidoscope Kreator to create the center photo kaleidoscope block as well as the outer mountain frame/border.

Frosted Firs - A unique arrangement of the Drunkard's Path block. A photo of frosted fir bows was manipulated in Kaleidoscope Kreator into kaleidoscope frames for the outer portion of the Drunkard's Path block.

Hugs and Kisses for DH - Pattern was designes to have each subunit oriented in the same manner. Someone else in the club set hers as Xs and Os and I decided this would be a perfect quilt for our bed.
