Scrappy Scooby - A very quick job of knocking up a quilt in a day when I first started quilting. The basting tags are still in as my son wants them there still. The quilting was in the ditch and very poor, but it is well loved.

Mom's New York Beauty - This quilt is very similar to one I made for myself about 4 years ago. My Mom loves mine and wanted one that would match her dining room. She even wanted the same border fabric as mine. I was able to find enough at a wonderful shop called "The Quilted Moose" in Gretna, NE about 4 or 5 years after it was made. Mom didn't know the quilt was being worked on so it was a wonderful surprise.

Just Your BAsic Chicken Coat - Coat pattern-Folkwear Turkish Coat. Tea dyed background fabric. Fused chickens and leaves. Beaded. Appliqued Cotton and Silk lining.

Shimmering Foliage - This quilt was my original design. Everyday I walk in the woods near my home with my dog George. This quilt was inspired by the spring leaves I see while walking in the woods.

June Jubilee - I am inspired by the flowers in my garden. I have a wonderful bed of poppies and I love to see them bloom each spring. This quilt was inspired by those flowers.

Spring Greeting - Daffodils are the first flower in the spring to bloom up against the south west side of my house. This quilt was inspired by those flowers in my beds.

Organic Leaves - I often walk in the woods with my dog, this quilt was inspired by those walks. This is also a class that I teach about art quilts that are collage and free form constructed. We use decorative rotary blades to cut the leaves out with.

St Antimo's Church - This breathtakingly beautiful 900 year old church sits in the Italian countryside in the region of Tuscany, and is surrounded by vineyards. This piece is painted in pigment ink and heavily quilted.

Sunflower Breast Cancer Auction Quilt - This is an art quilt I made to donate to a Breast Cancer Auction in Montana. I designed it from a photo of a sunflower using photo transfer, photo transfer on Organza, thread painting and beading for embellishment. I pieced, quilted, thread painted and beaded this quilt by machine using my home sewing machine.

Just Teasin - 2nd part of a McKenna Ryan pattern I have made for my Dad. This one was given to him in April 09 for Dad's 85th Birthday. I gave him the first piece last year for Christmas.

Chocolat - I made this quilt for my son's girlfriend Caity when she got her masters Degree. She loves pink and I thought the brown just worked very well with it.

Amazing - As a gentleman and beginning quilter, I was fascinated by the designs found in the "Easy Art Quilts" book. I tried my luck with the batiks that I had, and the result is shown in the photo. I gave this quilt to a relative for a graduation gift, but my wife missed it so much, that I did another one. This time, I made it slightly larger, and used more purple based colors. I am anxious to try other patterns found in the book by Christiane.

Tile Mosaic - Using a variety of techniques, I was commissioned to create a wall hanging to represent the tile mosaic floor seen on the floor of the Church of the Basilica.
