"Split OaK" Near Land Bridge Trail Head - Both halves of this “Split Oak” are still alive. It is near the Land Bridge Trailhead of the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway in Ocala, FL. This is a section of the Florida National Scenic Trail to reach the Land Bridge that crosses Interstate 75 and is a safe passage for hikers, equestrians and bicyclists. I used the "Scribble Applique" technique Ricky teaches in the Super Quilt Seminar.

Tulip Landscape - Tulips were inspired by Butchart Gardens in Victoria BC. Solveig, my mentor, was teaching me how to do applique, log cabin, stencil and fractured landscape. I made one for myself and then this one for my best friend, Pat.

Indy Gras - This is made to thank Terry and her family for lodging us for the Indy 500 every year. The colors are traditional race colors with a Mardi Gras print thrown in since we bring crawfish each year and have an "Indy Gras" party before the Race each year. A second similar quilt was made for Terry's sister, Tammy, my husband's cousin's wife.

Indy Gras2 - This is made to thank Tammy and her family, my husband;s cousins, for lodging us for the Indy 500 every year. Wavy Baby - This is a baby quilt made for Meolody and Chad's first born, Broderick Fisher Coates.

Wavy Sunflowers - I loved the wavy pattern quilt I made for baby Broderick and so made another to keep but added sunflowers.

Jackie's Moondance - Moondance, pattern by Beth Ferrier. Started in 2004 and decided to finish it last May. Had about 70% of the piecing done, had to finish the blocks and do all the applique. It was machine quilted on a long arm by Nancy Tatro from Finely Done Quilting, Candia NH. This was a gift for my SIL’s 60th birthday. Another UFO done! Oh, she loved it by the way, gave it to her last night, a bit late her b-day was August 13 but I did have a new granddaughter to welcome into the fold and of course life does get in the way at times

Mug Shots - Patterns for applique adapted from self-portrait "myself as a chicken" drawings done by members of my applique groupd, "Cluck and Chuckle" (hence the chicken motifs)

pentridge snuggler - log cabin and stars. great for snuggling under in front of log fire. Delighted as made from scraps from other projects.

Wedding Quilt - Made with 24 different beige and brown fabric. It was quick to sew together and I had it quilted on a long arm.

Aspen Grove - "Aspen Grove" is based on a beautiful memory of Montana groves in autumn. The piece was begun in a 2009 class at Empty Spools at Asilomar with Velda Newman. The trunks and leaves are painted, discharged, and stiched.

Melinda's Flower - The piece was produced in a Nite Owl Quilt Guild class by Melinda Bula.

Wedding Throw - The quilt has 49 7 1/2in embroidered blocks with quilt designs. It was made with designs on the new 830 Bernina sewing and embroidery machine. It was given as a wedding gift.
