Landscape at Ceret - My interpretation of a rather abstract cubist style painting by Juan Gris, using fabric, buttons and beads and cording. Hand quilted.

Sofia's Quilt - Created twenty fabric envelopes with bright, cheerful colors and surrounded them with equally bold colors for sashing and borders. Machine quilted between envelopes. Left mostly puffy to make it soft for Baby Sofia.

Purple 20 - This is an all flannel fabric quilt front and back. It is machine pieced and home machine quilted. The border was machine embroidered quilted using a stock pattern from Designer Gallery. All work done on my Babylock Ellageo machine from Oct 2008 - July 2009. It was a gift for my daughter Colleen.

Wonky Baby Quilt - As a member of Project Improv, I wanted to make a quilt "off the cuff" with no measuring or planning. It seems I succeeded in created some fun wonky blocks which made a nice baby quilt for a little girl born in April 2009. I used a lot of different prints in bright, cheery colors along with plenty of white. The back is pink flannel with stars and a panel of appliqued flowers.

African Nights - A wedding gift. We knew Bill in Uganda and the fabrics reminded me of a clear African sky at night in the bush -- stars undimmed by city lights. I kept the pattern simple to reflect the simple life we lived that year.

Moonrise - This is the quilt that shone out for me when Rose was on the show. It's very mildly adapted, smaller and the moon has the hare in it rather than spirals. I enjoyed the scrapy fabric making for the milky way part and loved doing the beading.
