"My Heirloom Sampler" - My first quilt -- cut with scissors, hand-pieced, hand-quilted. Done in same colors, just like pattern. Will be handed down as an heirloom. 20 traditional blocks.

Goldfish and Lotusflower - This quilt was made to decorate my office at work. The intention was to bring a bring splash of color to an otherwise drab color scheme while also giving me a calm place to rest my eye and inspire creativity.

"Star Light, Star Bright" - This child's quilt is named "Star Light Star Bright" from QIAD's newest book "Day and Night". It is being submitted for a trunk show in the QIAD tent in Paducah, KY at the Quilt show. All quilts shown will then be donated to a women's shelter. This is the first time to try the pattern so made up a lap size.

Sophia's Sampler - Made for coworker's new baby, in color scheme chosen for the nursery.

Flying Stars - I used the basic block from "Singing the Blues" and then did my own thing with it. It was made for a dear friend in Colorado.

Chevronlet - This quilt is for my 18 year old nephew. I used Civil War Crossing fabrics from a Jelly Roll and reproduction neutrals I had in my stash. I made the chevrons slightly elongated by sewing 2.5" strips together and cutting 60 degree diamonds 2" wide. There are 1208 pieces in this quilt.

Autumn Leaves - I'm trying to decorate my home with quilts with a goal of having a different one for every season. I had lots of autumn fabric leftover from the Thanksgiving placemats and napkins I made years ago, which was perfect for this Autumn Leaves design.

Ferret Wall Block - My sister loves ferrets. I'm experimenting with making small quilt blocks stretched on canvas as quick wall art gifts. The inner square has a "sister" sentiment. This was one of her birthday gifts.

Spring Breeze - A fresh Spring breeze, full of butterlies, blowing across the quilt!

Pinwheel with a Twist - Adding dimension to ordinary patterns gives a whole new twist!

Turn, Turn, Turn! - It really turns! A mini quilt that has a spinning pinwheel!

Sunflower - I grew giant sunflowers that summer and just had to celabrate their beauty!

Arab Coffee Pot Trio - These coffee pots are among my collection of Arabian memorabilia collected during our 10 years living in Saudi Arabia. They are fused applique, hand painted, thread painted and machine quilted.
