My first quilt - This was my first quilt, and I made two of them for our matching sofas.

Nolan's Quilt - This quilt used a pre-printed panel called Hungry Animal Alphabet, and coordinating border/backig fabrics.

Santa in the Snow - This an adaptation of an applique pattern that I bought - I added snow, embellishments and some different fabric combinations.

Carnegie's Quilt - The sailboat certainly isn't an original block, but I wanted to play around with a 'single block quilt'. The quilt was made for a friends first baby, Miss Carnegie. And yes, they have a sailboat.

Following Ricky's Star - One of my Harmonic Convergence series. Center was made with Ricky's hand dyed fabric. Converged stars and borders are commercial fabric.

Circles of Love - Anniversary Quilt - doube wedding ring - marriage golden thread - 50 years blue - the dress she wore approx. 30,400 colonial knots used in design children & grandchildren names & dob embroidered there

Remembering Aunt Cora #1 - In honor of my great aunt, I am making a series of teacup quilts. #1 was for her grandson. I adapted Attic Windows to represent her china cupboard with its display of cups.

A Visit With Chantelle - Chantelle, my second, hangs in our living room window (which looks out to nowhere). The fabric is cotton with gold imprint. The flower and leaves are three dimensional.

Love-Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow - When first married, Love was fresh and new and innocent, now dealing with addiction & recovery of my beloved some days my heart hangs by a thread, and because Love endures all and never ends, but the healing leaves some scars. Made because Ricky challenged us to enter the MicroCosmos Show...the quilts were chosen for the show and on their way to LaVeta now!

Almost Amish - Machine pieced, hand quilted/ machine quilting in white grid. I sat with an Amish lady who taught me hand quilting one afternoon. She said after 6 hours of practice I would become better and better. Many callouses, and many hours later she was correct.
