Thoroughly Modern Icon - Made in a challenge; I received a "bag of stuff" from another member of my contemporary bee. I did not know who I was making it for, but assumed the Lady of Guadalupe motif on the fabric was important to her. It was quite a challenge to make a traditional saint into a contemporary quilt! The asymmetry, wacky borders and the tacked down plastic rosary helped.
iCandy 3.0 - I dyed all the fabric in the quilt, and then painted some details on the inner flower petals. It's all fused together and then machine quilted. The quilt took over a year to make, it started out as a sample for one of my classes and then kept growing.
Flying Feathers - I hoped this quilt might appeal to quilt judges more than my black wholecloths. It's not as me, but it was an interesting project. This is the quilt that broke my cheek bone!
Kaleidoscope - Quilt is hanging in Cozy Quilt Shop, El Cajon, CA together with a flyer of Ricky Tims' DVD. The shop has the DVD in stock and as The San Diego County Run is under way at the moment (march 7 to 14-09), we hope to sell some of these. I am also planning on giving a demo once the run is over.
Celebration - A wallhanging designed and made to celebrate the Christmas season. Machine fused applique. Motifs are outlined with a narrow satin stitch and there are some decorative rows of machine stitching on the background.
Bali Sunrise - A quilt designed and made for Cozy Quilt Design at the request of Island Batik, Inc for a new line of batiks in 2008. Quilt was on display at Spring Market in 2008.
Southern Comfort - Quilt made and designed for the Strip Club at Cozy Quilt Shop. A program that introduces a new quilt pattern every month, made from 2 1/2" strip bundles plus accent/background and border fabric.

Cosmic Stars - Quilt made and designed for the Cozy Quilt Shop monthly Strip Club. Pattern is available at www.cozyquilt.com in Throw, Twin and King size. Made from 2 1/2 strips plus additional fabric.
Wallflowers - Borders are pieced. The branches and a few of the leaves are fused and stitched down with a narrow satin stitch. The flowers, buds, and some of the leaves are 3-D and float over the background. An easy quilt to make for somebody with sewing experience as it requires some stitching by hand. Transparency Experiment - Small quilt made for a color and design class as an example of transparency. Tuille covers the shapes which are held in place by the surrounding quilting done with metallic thread.

This is a great scrap busting quilt! I created twelve large spunky flowers with flowing vines. Even a beginner can make it. It was so easy and fun that my six year old niece made the heart flower block.
