Heart Quilt - From a call by Debbie Krotvil called Cookie Cutter Quilts

"Jenny's Quilt" - "Jenny's quilt" The manager of my local sewing center, commissioned me to do this quilt for her nephew's wedding. It's a revised nine patch in various white on black, and black on white with a deep red half on the center half square triangle, and a piano key border. It was quilted in the ditch except the center. Finally accented with a deep red binding. I really hated to give it up, but a deal's a deal.

Megan's Daisy Chain - Megan selected this pattern and the fabrics for her college quilt. Made with Amy Butler's Daisy Chain line. The border fabric was fussy cut. We are both very pleased with the end product!

Ellen's Baby Back Sack - I bought this kit at the Lizzie B booth in Long beach last year. I had a blast meeting Liz and Beth. The BackSack turned out great - it was a baby gift and the Mom to be loved it!

Baby Bridgette's Beary Bear - OMG - how much fun to make this adorable little bear! Thanks Anne for having such a great site with this free pattern! Now I have to make two more for my college-aged daughters!

Quilter Reborn - The very first quilt I made (18 years ago) was a lonestar quilt. After a 10 year break from quilting, the quilt class offered by Cynthia Clement at Honey Bee Quilt Store got me excited about quilting again. The class helped me with fabric selection for the lonestar & taught how to use the quiltsmart grids. This is my first attempt at creating my own pattern (I designed the borders) to finish the top. Hopefully this will be the first of many "originals" I create.

Max @ Milly's Space Race - Space rockets are enlarged version of the printed fabric in the border. Photos of Max and Milly are in two rocket windows. Max was 6 years old.

Red and Whte Christmas - Flip'n sew method as found in a book by Carol Doak

Batik sensation - This was a block of the month from Quilt n Sew in Houston. I changed some colors (made them more vibrant) and changed the lay out of the blocks. The quilt gives me an autumn feeling. It will be on my bed for a while.

The drunk - Had two things I wanted to use, Drunkards Path template and Kaffe Fassett fabric. Sooooo, I sewed. Fabric from www.wishuponaquilt.com

Shaded Blocks - I love the 3-D feel to this pattern. I machine quilted the squares 1/4" inside the edge all around. Will make another one changing it with bright colors and maybe a border. It was fun to make.

Autum Leaves - Various types of leaves machine appliqued with trapunto, some sashiko black ink outlining the leaves. The wall hanging measures about 24" x 30" and was improvised as I went along.

Star & Stripes 1 - I found this block on Fabric Stash Blocks website. Original colors for this block were red and blue. This is my color scheme of browns and deep reds, using my fabrics in my stash materials. I turned it on end to make a different effect.
