Family Tree - I designed this quilt pattern for my husbands family reunion in Oregon in 2006. We had a blast at the reunion and everyone signed the tree. This pattern will soon be available for purchase at www.3quacksquilting.com.

Grandma's potholder - My grandmother made this potholder for me when I got married. It's very worn now. I noticed that it was made from bias tape. (See next quilt.)

Serenity

Serenity - First art quilt I have made. I made rocks using Texture Magic. I stitched the water with King Tut and a serpentine stitch. It was made for my niece, who needs serenity with 5 children under 8 with twins at 13 months.
Matt's Phoenix

Matt's Phoenix - This quilt took four years, start to finish. The original pattern had 1/4 in finished strips. I enlarged it to make it easier. Won't make that mistake again! This bad boy weighs 9 lbs. It is draped over my queen-size bed.

Over the River and Through the Woods - Black, brown, tan fabrics with black embroidery. Made the quilt for a silent auction to benefit needy families in our school district.

Butterflies

Butterflies - A friend wanted a "pink butterfly" quilt for a new grandbaby, this was what I came up with. I used Marti Michell's hexagon template and it went together like a dream! I machine appliqued a few butterflies on the top for added dimension. I really enjoyed making this quilt and it was difficult to part with it.

Family Resemblance - I did this piece as encouragement to students to JUST TRY IT! This was a royalty free clip art countour drawing for which i net. searched for animal coloring tips. I first thought the highly wrinkled bulldog was the mom ( I was getting angry) but later learned this was 3 generations of english bulldogs. Way FUN!
