Starrie Night Mystery - I love a mystery and when my local quilt store was promoting this pattern with a fabric line, I had to have the mystery part. I choose fabric from my stash. The quilt store ladies really liked my fabric choices. I puffed up a bit and felt proud. This is one of my first quilts.

"Stream of Consciousness" - This is an art quilt , hand drawn and designed by me, it is all raw edge applique finished with a blanket stitch. It is based on a memory of mine from my childhood. This quilt means the world to me, as it is my very first completed art quilt, it was a semi finalist in the AQS Paducah Show in 2008. It was also accepted into the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza in 2007. One very unique thing about this quilt is the "face" that appears in the upper left mid center of the quilt, I did not plan the design that way, it just happened to be a combination of the fabric pattern and the quilting , and I did not notice it until the quilt was completed! But it appears that the "night sky" is a female looking down on the emerging butterfly...pretty cool! Photography by Gregory Case Photography.

A Star for Keeping - Made to be raffled at a fund raiser for my cousin who is battling Cancer.

"Classic Hearts and Feathers" - This is an original hand drawn design by me, a whole cloth quilt, quilted with silk thread and wool batting, on my domestic sewing machine. Photos by Gregory Case Photography.

Midori's Butterfly - Made for my niece using stack-n-whack tecnique with machine appliques leaves, stems and butterflies. Very fun!

Happily Ever After - Made out of 2.5 inch 1/2 square triangles. from Triangulations. I don't do flying geeese very well and this was very fund to make.

Joshua's block - Baby gift for a friend of my Sister's. Wanted Blue and Brown for a Boy.

Pot of Pansies - I adapted this quilt from Elinor BurnsGrandmother's Garden Quilts to place in our remodeled bathroom. The curtain and doily under the pot are embellished with my Grandma Gingrich's tatting.

Kay's Garden of Stars - This was made for a friend who worked for me that retired in July. I ended up being her very first quilt to receive as a gift.

At Peace - This quilt was inspired be the colors at the lake. It was so peaceful there and I hoped this quilt would bring peace to a man who was sick. It gave me so much pleasure making this quilt for someone to enjoy.

Ovarian Cancer Quilt Center - Adapted pattern from Kay England and added triangular yellow petals as found in a American Patchwork magazine from 2008. It will have additional borders and blocks added at a sew in.

Blue Magic Vine Quilt - This wall hanging was constructed of blocks from a BOM at Sew What Quilt shop in Wyandotte, Mi. I got batiks to make 4 flowers each month for a year for $1 per month. I mentioned to my quilt group that I was interested in finding striped fabric for lattice and a friend gave me the blue and yellow stripe. I took some of my blue and yellow patches to make this wall hanging which I gave my mom for Christmas. I have several wall hangings left to make from that bom! Stay tuned!

Pinwheels & Posies - This scrap quilt was fun to make. It was very challenging with all the triangles. I, at least, made a small dent in my stash.

Log Cabin Variation - A fun quilt to make using fabrics that shouldn't go together but somehow did but heavy on pinks and purples which are my granddaughter's favorite colors.

Ornamental Stars - Looked so beautiful in the magazine, I ordered two kits! Very easy to do - but looks very hard!
