Elly's Comfort - For my Danish grandmother in the colors of a summer day in Denmark. It is smallish, so as to not trip her up as she is smallish herself. She uses it for her daily nap, and when watching TV.

Why are they all yellow - This is a sunflower quilt which I made from all my favorite colours. It is pieced with a machine and quilted with a machine.

Irish Prayer - Our Pastor is leaving our parish.The ladies at the church asked me to make a wall hanging of "May the road rise to meet you ..." to hang and give him at his going away party. The embroidered cross design was downloaded from John Deer website adorable ideas.com. The clover was a design in my Artista 5 software and the circle is a machine design from Studio Bernina Continuous Line Quilting by Keryn Emmerson Lisc. by Golden Threads. All embroidery and Quilting was done with King Tut multi green thread. My friend Gloria Donovan hand sewed the finishes on back for the binding and sleeve and lable.

Love You - I enjoy making wallhangings for my daughter who is in college to add a touch of home to the dorm. I dug through my scraps finding all pink and red fabrics to construct the main area of the quilt. I had fun making the fanciful hearts to fuse on.

One in Every Crowd - Entirely Paper Pieced. My husband helped design this pattern using the idea from the book. There are over 130 triangles with 30 strips of fabric in each triangle. It's made from batik fabrics. For sale $2500.

Jessi's Animals - The five animal blocks were stitched with the Elleganta Baby Lock from purchased patterns. The quilting around the animals on the four background blocks is hard to see in the picture but it really brings the animals "alive". My daughter Jessi planned the quilt to match her bedroom theme of African animals.
