Fanfare Log Cabin
Name of Maker: Karen Van Dijk Nielsen
Fanfare Log Cabin - I made this quilt using Japanese Quiltgate Fabric from the Gentle Flowers and Silence Beauty Collection. 100% Cotton. The original pattern used Christmas Material - but I wanted something that would go with my home surroundings and suited our tastes better. We are very happy with it. I ran out of time to Hand Quilt it, so decided to have it Long Arm Quilted.

Brian's T-Shirt Quilt
Name of Maker: Marilyn Nash
Brian's T-Shirt Quilt - Our mentally challenged son passed away in 2006 and this year I finally was able to take his old T-shirts and make a quilt. He loved football, especially the AR Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys, so he had lots of shirts depicting those two teams. I scanned some photos of him and an autographed photo of the former Razorback coach and included them in the quilt which now hangs in his bedroom.

Taylor's Fishes - My oldest grandnephew was born before I started quilting. I made him his quilt when he was older and delivered it at the same time as one made for his expected baby sister. He liked fish and when he was with his grandparents they spent as much time as possible on the water. I was lucky to find great fish themed fabric and used both traditional piecing and applique of the fish.
