The Way Out - I made this quilt in a workshop taught by renowned art quilter Esterita Austin. The pieces are fused to the background and then highlighted with fabric paints. The class was hosted by the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild.

guatemalan baby - made for the adoption of Eva's grandson from Guatemala hand appliqued, machine pieced. Three hears trapunto quilted to represent mom dad and child.

FLW - This is one of my first three quilts done at the same time in 2005. I used batiks and my own ideas for color, not those from the book or the actual window. This quilt was sewn in class using the pattern modified by our teacher Diane Monde at East Aurora Sewing Center to use bias tape instead of small strips of black fabric.
