fleiner I too needed a "quick" baby quilt and after seeing the episode where Alex Anderson gave instructions for such a quilt I started working on it. I had just such a cute owl fabric for it...
After all the piecing the whole quilt, I felt it was too empty in the middle and told myself, it just can't be that hrad to draw a little owl... So here it is.
Another great idea I used from one of the shows with Pat Holly, where she decorated her background fabric - well I did the same for the owl body fabric, which of course then meant that I had to turn the edge under before doing the machine applique.
