A Dash of Cottage Chic

My local quilt presented a block of the month to the members. I decided to make mine using felted wool for the applique. The background and piecing is all 100% cottons. The wool applique was fused and then machine appliqued to the background, I used my Bernina to do some of the emblishing...flowers and tendrils.  It won 3rd place in the machine quilting catagory at my local guild show 2015.
