Making Friends

“Making Friends” was created as a fundraising piece for the Victoria Humane Society inspired by a photo by Wendy Nesbitt, used with permission. The VHS logo was the jump-off point for the design: the shades of blue are those from the logo. The patchwork background incorporates new cotton and recycled mixed fabrics. The design represents the pets we adopt -- they come in all shapes, sizes, varieties, colours and ages, they love unconditionally and melt our hearts. Background longarm quilting by Arlene MacKenzie.
