Painted the rays of color surrounding the gas clouds and stars that make up the Horsehead Nebula and the gas cloud is a large Angelina Fibers applique that I covered with black veiling and quilted down. Then I free motion bobbin thread embroidered the horse's head configuration (see detail in my pictures). |
