savblancgirl 1938 - I made this quilt from an old street photo taken in Wellington, New Zealand in August 1938. The quilt depicts my Father aged 4, holding hands with his Mother , together with his Aunt. I always loved the photo and enjoyed how it show that even as times change , family and what that means, stays the same. This quilt won 1st place in the art human image catagory at Road to California in 2014.
