kbskbstango Tiles That Bind - This memory quilt was made for friends who are moving out of the country. The title has double meaning. Their business was tiling, so the basic design is a mosaic, and we spent many fun hours together enjoying "tile" games like Mah Jongg, RummiKub, and Mexican Train. The plaid stripes are satin from one of her gowns and were the basis of the color scheme. All of the other fabrics are unique reminders of their 12 years in Florida.
