gingersews 17-Year Quilt - I started this quilt in the Fall of 1987 when I was on medical leave, and stored it away when I went back to work. In 2004, I started quilting classes at Aunt Bee's Quilting and decided to finish this quilt. In my mind, it was half-finished and so ugly (I don't know why!). When I pulled it out of storage, I was amazed! It was beautiful and completely done except for quilting & binding. I had it quilted, then added the binding, and I am so happy with it. This was my very first quilt and it took 17 years from start to finish!
