gonnahappen Pumpkins and Paws - This quilt embodies two of my favorite things: Bear Claws and Pumpkins. I have always been fascinated by bears, and I love to travel to the north too see the bears (I live in Texas...no bears) in their natural habitat. I don't know why I love pumpkins...maybe because I'm shaped like one! I love the contrast between the black and the lights. My friend Jo Ann quilted this to perfection (she's a real fiber artist). It seems she got into my head and pulled the perfect balance of quilting to enhance this pattern. I feel warm and happy when I look at it.
