Asian Windows - Asian Windows is comprised of an all cotton fabric panel, that has been cut into "panes" and then placed into the Attic Windows pattern and bordered by complimentary fabrics. The backing is a rust tone-on-tone 100% cotton fabric and the batting is Hobb's 80/20. Quilted using Aurifil varigated cotton thread, #4150 in 50wt, the windows were quilted in a tapestry style, while the frames and borders were quilted in free-motion home machine style. The free-motion consists of shells, diagonal waves, and ginko leaves surrounded by small stippling.
