Scoopie Celebrating At The Lake - This is a guild challenge quilt, and was probably the most enjoyable quilt I have ever made. It just seemed to come to life before my very eyes. The fireworks, and their reflection in the water, are all done free motion with metallic threads. The water is Angelina, layered on top of a beautiful batik. The lady's hair and the bush are yarn. This quilt commemorates the many anniversaries that my husband and I have celebrated on Flathead Lake in Montana.
