lovequilter Tree of Hands - This quilt was made by using a light box to copy the hands of kindergartner's and the machine appliqueing them to the backing fabric. The tree trunk is pieced and then appliqued. The quilt was made to auction for the school's annual gala fundraiser. I'm happy to say it raised $2500.00 for the school. The heart on the tree trunk is the school logo. The hands at the bottom are the teachers.
