Design Source - Description | This contemporary spin on a traditional favorite is easier by eliminating the need for an applique center. Dresden points are 3D and both ends of each wedge is pointed! As another twist, I simply basted the Dresden units in place until the quilt is layered, then stitched in place during quilting. I quilted in the ditch between blades, flipped up a point, travelled to the next ditch, and so on. It worked beautifully! |
