Marianne-is-sewing Conversation Piece - This wall hanging came about because of a mobile phone conversation I overheard on the train. For more than one hour the rest of the carriage was "entertained" so giving up on my book I started for fun to jot down "the other half" of the conversation. This jotting is the basis for the quilting. I imagined the 2 women were very different hence the complimentary colours of the fabric
