Welshwoman Foundation Sampler - The manner in which the quilt is constructed (sashing, borders) is my own design. The blocks are traditional (Pineapple; Lady of the Lake; Crow's Foot; Crown of Thorns; Cross & Crown; Flying Geese; Star & Square and Jack in the Box) and have all been adapted for foundation piecing. I find that the accuracy of my points and the ease of piecing of all those little triangles makes foundation piecing the option for me. There is no formal name to this pattern other than a traditional sampler. All of the colored fabrics are Morris prints, so the center design is a flower and leaves that I drew, based on the Morris style. All of the quilting is free-motion.
