MarciaH Geeked - This was a gift for my niece Janelle and her now husband Matt. I used whites in the background, about 15 different ones with a very subtle pattern. Since this was a wedding quilt I wanted some traditional white included. The original pattern called for a green background. The Groom is techie and does a lot of computer repair, programming etc. so I thought the pattern was fun with the squares representing pixels.
