Grandmother's Garden of Patience

QuilTena Grandmother's Garden of Patience - The Dresden plate quilt and hexie flowers are English paper pieced, then appliqued to the background. Hexagons are 1/4". The hand piecing took a couple of years because I had to let my hands rest for a couple of weeks between stitching all these tiny hexagons. There are approximately 800. Inspite of the tiny pieces, I really enjoyed making this quilt. It is approx. 18 x 22".
