GeneBlack Horse of a Different Color - This is an art quilt that I designed. The background is woven using a technique I learned from the book "Simply Stunning Woven Quilts" The Horse was inspired by a stencil that I saw online. I immediately thought -great quilt idea! I drew my version of the horse and transferred the pattern onto the fusible I had ironed on the back of the fabric. This is a method I learned from Laura Wasilowski.
