| Design Source - Description | This was made as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She wanted a purple hippo, but once we started looking at fabric she wanted all of it. Isn't that just like a quilter! The center medallion was inspired by a watercolor drawing by Jo Lynch, whose work is incredibly delightful. This particular drawing was a perfect way to incorporate all the joyful fabrics that Amber chose. I added the appliqué butterflies for the final touch of whimsy. |
