BrandyLynn Young Soldier - Upon hearing of the death of a young Canadian Trooper killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan in 2007, I was torn with grief at the notion that my cousin, his best friend who had survived the explosion, would have to deal with that vision and such a profound loss for the rest of his life. This art quilt is made to honour Canadian families suffering the loss of a loved one and the Canadian soldiers still suffering from post traumatic stress.
