marbles Holo-Holo (Bummin') Kauai - This is a Ricky Tims Rhapsody-style quilt inspired by a trip my daughter and I took to Kauai to celebrate her 37th birthday. I combined my love of Rhapsody-style quilt making with my love of Hawaiian quilting. the center of the quilt was inspired by our trip to the Kauai Hindu Monastery, and the hibiscus flowers all over the island. There is a bump on the the waves in the border, and that, my friends, represents my daughter's bum as she was snorkeling in the ocean.
