mostlydebbies Modern Sampler - This is a Block Of The Month Sampler started September 2012. I thoroughly enjoyed quilting along with every one and was waiting for each month to reveal what kind of new block would be created. I did mine in an assortment of colors, blues, reds, pinks, purples, greens, with a sheet music print as the common fabric for each block. The sashing is done in black and the check border is in navy. Each block is quilted with a different motif and then echo quilted for density.It has a feathered border and Philippians 4:4-7 is written on the sashing in purple thread. The batting is Hobbs 100% cotton and is made with all quilt quality cotton and cotton blends. The back is pieced in a contemporary pattern. It measures approx. 42x42 and has a sleeve on the back for hanging. Signed and dated by me.
