atkinssm Easy Curves - I took a class with Laurie Shifrin who has authored several books on making quilts with batiks. I love batiks but I took this class because Laurie offered some exciting non-batiks and I also wanted to make a quilt with curves. I thought it would be a tremendous challenge because flanges are included on each of the curves. Laurie's applique techniques and tips throughout the class made the project go together easily and accurately.
