This is a 5-inch paper-pieced lob cabin block, a scrappy quilt. It is called "Thinking of Nick" because I used the Autism fund-raising fabric (the one that is jig saw puzzle pieces) in the first inside border. It is also on the back of the quilt. I quilted it using stippling in various sizes, as it resembles puzzle pieces. My grandson Nick is a victim of Autism. I continued the scrappy theme in the piano key border. |
