Grandpa's Shirts - When Anneliese's grandpa died, her mom wanted to give her something to remember grandpa. She brought me all of her father's shirts and asked me to design and construct a quilt for Anneliese. This is the result after cutting apart then strip cutting many shirts and piecing together the resulting thousands of pieces of fabric. Annaliese's grandpa worked for John Deere and loved fishing. You'll notice the t-shirt blocks honoring these parts of his life and the longarmed fish swimmong around the border of the quilt.
