QuiltersLane Shooting Stars - I designed this quilt on EQ7 using Jinny Beyer's Coraline fabric range. I love the brightness of the turquoise against the black. I called the quilt Shooting Stars as the blocks remind me of stars shooting through the night sky. I have taught this quilt as a Quilt in a Day and my lovely quilters have made it in some great colour combinations including bright pinks from the Jinny Beyer palette and mushrooms from the Stof Christmas range. They all looked stunning and the quilt is easy to do with strip piecing. This is my wedding quilt to celebrate my marriage in December 2011.
